Fall 1986, I drew "Morphia Studio" for the Argonaut, University of Idaho. The pseudonym Vera Zogen-Lineal is a bastardization of the German verzogen lineal. A high school classmate taking German assured me it meant warped ruler. It was a problem I was plagued with until student loans enabled me to remedy the situation.
"Blue House" submitted to On-Edge Magazine in 1990. I never heard back from the fledgling project and don't even know if it made it off the idea board.
