Produced and executed various
events for faculty, staff and
off-campus clients. Set up and
operated stage & sound equipment at multiple sites of
varying degrees of electronic sophistication on and
off campus. Events include: the Life on Wheels Conference, the Methodist Annual
Conference, & the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.

Responsible
for the operation of the football stadium's video equipment, cameras
& big screen displays.

Supervised crews
comprised of staff, workstudy, volunteers and inmates.

Facilitated all events at the University Auditorium ranging
from variety shows, music concerts, weddings, and
commencement ceremonies.

Handled scheduling,
security, equipment rental and billing for Auditorium
events.
Work for Events was fast
paced, with an eye for detail and more often than not
working on several different events at once.
Our team received a
Circle of Excellence Team award in 2000 from University
President Hoover for our work on Campaign for Idaho.
Production Director

Spring 1993 & Spring 2001
Moscow, Idaho.
- Organized,
wrote, and directed Patchwork, a benefit show for the
Palouse AIDS Network, which toured local high school and
churches.
- Took over the
organization and staging of Theatre Outside the Bell Jar,
a reader’s theatre. Schedule space and performers,
designed programs, and arranged for stage equipment.

Graphic Design
Create
posters,
pamphlets, WebPages, and other educational and promotional
tools by using a variety of contemporary computer programs.
Extensive experience with digitizing and enhancing images
for computer based work, and small press publication.
Technical Theater
Twelve years
working at various theatres setting up and striking
sets, staging, lights, and audio equipment. Set construction, light
design and sound engineering, including repair and
maintenance of gear, fork
lift operation, driving 15’ vans, rigging, and follow-spot
operation. Worked as sound engineer, stage & house manager and
master electrician, including 2 seasons with the Oregon
Shakespeare Festival’s Stage Operations. Also
experienced with radio production
and broadcasting.
Writer
Have written several
plays, which have gone on to see successful productions.
Patchwork won a prize and production from the Northwest
Playwright's Guild, 1993. Tiny Lives took judge’s
choice in costumes at the regional American College Theatre
Festival, 1999. A Stick In The Spoke was a
finalist in the Northwest Drama Conference's playwrighting
competition, 1991. Edited a script for the Biomedical
Communications Unit at Washington State University. |
